‘Eldigarth' is situated in the middle of Cunningsburgh, just off the Lerwick - Sumburgh road approximately 10 miles south of Lerwick which can be reached easily by car or by bus as South Mainland bus services run along the road past the house.

There is a primary school just along the road from the house, other amenities including a recently opened farm shop & café at the northern end of the village, a well-supported community hall plus a marina at Aith Voe. The village hosts one of Shetland’s biggest agricultural shows in August.

Windows in the property are double glazed and central heating is provided by an oil-fired boiler in the kitchen which was renewed last year and also provides hot water.
