Lerwick is just 15 miles away however Nesting has a local shop (with fuel) & post office (just over 3 miles) and of course the nearby primary school (approx. 1Ύ miles).

Nesting has some stunning scenery, in particular the area around nearby Lingness, and there are two beaches near to the house.
